JAS 1:23 – 24. LIKE A MIRROR
! – वचन सुन्‍ने तर पालना नगर्नेचाहिँ ऐनामा आफ्‍नो अनुहार हेर्ने मान्‍छेजस्‍तै हो।उसले ऐनामा हेरुञ्‍जेल आफ्‍नो अनुहार देख्‍छ, हेर्न छोडेपछि आफू कस्‍तो थिएँ भन्‍ने झट्टै बिर्सिहाल्‍छ।
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror.24For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like

MT 13:44 – 46. LIKE A TREASURE OR WELTH
“परमेश्‍वरको राज्‍यचाहिँ जमिनमा गाडेको बहुमूल्‍य धनजस्‍तै हुन्‍छ। कुनै मानिसले यसलाई पाउँछ र फेरि छोपेर राख्‍छ अनि ऊ खुसी हुँदै गएर आफ्‍ना भएभरको सम्‍पत्ति बेची त्‍यो बारी किनिछोड्छ।
“फेरि परमेश्‍वरको राज्‍य राम्रो खालको मोती खोज्‍दै हिँड्‍ने एउटा व्‍यापारीजस्‍तै हो।धेरैभन्दा धेरै मोल पर्ने मोती भेट्टाउँदा उसले आफ्‍नो भएभरको जेथा बेचेर त्‍यो मोती किनिछोड्छ!

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.


Ps 119:72, 2तपाईंले दिनुभएको व्‍यवस्‍था
पृथ्‍वीका सारा धनभन्दा मेरो लागि ठूलो छ।
The law of your mouth is better to me
than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

Like a Bread
MT 4:3 – 4. 3त्‍यसै बेला शैतानले उहाँकहाँ आएर भन्‍यो, “साँच्‍चै तपाईं परमेश्‍वरका पुत्र हुनुहुन्‍छ भने यी ढुङ्गाहरूलाई रोटी होइजा भन्‍नुहोस्।”4येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “धर्मशास्‍त्रमा यस्‍तो लेखिएको छ– खानेकुराले मात्रै मानिस बाँच्‍तैन, तर ऊ परमेश्‍वरको मुखबाट निक्‍लेको हरेक बोलीले बाँच्‍दछ।”
And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.”4But he answered, “It is written,
“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

JN 6:35, = येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्‍नुभयो, “अनन्त जीवन दिने रोटीचाहिँ म नै हुँ। मकहाँ आउने भोकाउनेछैन र ममाथि विश्‍वास गर्ने कहिल्‍यै तिर्खाउनेछैन।
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst



4 – WORD OF GOD IS LIKE GPS
IS 30:21 , LIKE A GPS
1तिमीहरूले दायाँ वा बायाँ बाटो बिरायौ भने पछिल्‍तिरबाट उहाँको सोर सुन्‍नेछौ, “बाटो यही हो। यसैमा हिँड्।”
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left

5 – Word of GOD is like rain and Snow
IS 55:10 , LIKE A RAIN OR SNOW
“मेरो वचन पृथ्‍वीलाई भिजाउन आकाशबाट झर्ने वर्षा र हिउँजस्‍तो छ;
त्‍यसले जमिन नभिजाई फर्कंदैन
र त्‍यसले छर्नलाई बिउ र खानालाई भोजन दिन्‍छ।
11मेरो मुखबाट निस्‍कने वचन पनि त्‍यस्‍तै छ,
मैले इच्‍छा गरेको काम त्‍यसले पूरा गरिछोड्‍नेछ,
जुन काम गर्न म त्‍यसलाई पठाउनेछु,
ती पूरा गरिछोड्‍नेछ।
“10, For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.


6 – Word of God is Like a Hammer

Is 23:29, LIKE A HAMMER
9मेरा वचन आगोजस्‍तै छ, चट्टानलाई चुर-चुर पार्ने एउटा घनझैँ छ।
Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?


7 – Word of God is like a Seeds

1 Pet 1:23-25, LIKE A SEEDS
3परमेश्‍वरको जीवित र सदा रहने वचनद्वारा तिमीहरूको नयाँजन्‍म भएको छ। तिमीहरू नाश हुने पिताबाटका सन्‍तान होइनौ, तर नाश नहुने पिताका सन्‍तान हौ।
24धर्मशास्‍त्रले भन्‍छ, “सबै मानिसहरू घाँसजस्‍तै छन् अनि तिनीहरूको इज्‍जत पनि जङ्गली फूलजस्‍तै छ। घाँस ओइलिजान्‍छ, फूल झरिजान्‍छ,25तर प्रभुको वचन सधैँभरि रहिरहन्‍छ।” यो प्रभुको वचन नै तिमीहरूलाई सुनाएको सुसमाचार हो।
since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;24for
“All flesh is like grass
and all its glory like the flower of grass.
The grass withers
and the flower falls,
25but the word of the Lord remains forever.”

And this word is the good news that was preached to you.

MT 13:8, LIKE A SEEDS
तर कति बिउ भने मलिलो माटोमा पर्‍यो अनि बढेर कुनैबाट सय गुणा, कुनैबाट साठी गुणा र कुनैबाट तीस गुणा बढी उब्‍जाउ भयो।
Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty

8 – Word of God is Like a Medication

Pro 4:22, 2मेरो कुरा बुझ्‍नेले जीवन र स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य प्राप्‍त गर्नेछ।
For they are life to those who find them,
and healing to all their flesh.

Pro 17:22, प्रसन्‍न चित्त हुनु नै असल औषधी हो। सधैँ उदासी मनले बिस्‍तारै मृत्‍यु ल्‍याउँदछ।
A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Ps 107:20,
आफ्‍नो आज्ञाले उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई निको पार्नुभयो
र मृत्‍युदेखि बचाउनुभयो।
He sent out his word and healed them,
and delivered them from their destruction.

9 – Word of God is like a Honey

Ps 19:10, LIKE A HONEY
निखुर सुनभन्दा धेरै चाहना गर्ने लायकका छन्,
सबैभन्दा शुद्ध महभन्दा पनि मीठा छन्।
0More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.

Ps 119:103, 3तपाईंका अर्तीहरूको स्‍वाद कति मीठो छ,
त्‍यो महभन्दा मीठो छ।
How sweet are your words to my taste,
sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Ezek 3:3, उहाँले भन्‍नुभयो, “ए मरणशील मानिस, मैले दिएको यो कागजको मुट्ठो खा। त्‍यसले तेरो पेट भर्‌।” मैले कागजको मुट्ठो खाएँ र त्‍यो मेरो मुखमा महझैँ मीठो भयो।
And he said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” Then I ate it, and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey.

10 – Word of God is Like a Sword
Eph 6:17, LIKE A SWORD
7शिर रक्षा गर्ने मुक्तिको टोप लेओ। पवित्र आत्‍माले दिनुभएको परमेश्‍वरको शिक्षारूपी तरवार भिरिराख।
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

Heb 4:12, परमेश्‍वरको वचन त काम गरिरहने र जिउँदो छ। यो दुईधारे तरवारभन्दा पनि धारिलो छ। यसले भित्र पुगी प्राण र आत्‍मालाई छुट्‌याइदिन्‍छ। जोर्नी र मज्‍जालाई अलग पारिदिन्‍छ। परमेश्‍वरको वचनले मानिसहरूको हृदयको विचार र चाहनालाई केलाएर जाँच गर्छ।
2For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

11 – Word of God is like a Milks

Heb 5:12-13, क्षाको बारेमा प्राथमिक कुरा पनि थाहा नभएर अरू कसैले सिकाउनुपर्लाजस्‍तो छ। अलिक खँदिलो खानेकुराको सट्टा अझै तिमीहरू आमाको दूध चुस्‍ने बालकजस्‍तै छौ।13आमाको दूध मात्र चुस्‍छ भने त त्‍यो अझै बालकै छ। असल र खराबको ज्ञान त्‍यसले पाएको छैन।
2For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food,13for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.

1 Cor 3:1-3, यसकारण भाइहरू, आत्‍मा हुनेहरूसँग जस्‍तै म तिमीहरूसँग बोल्‍न सकिनँ। म त तिमीहरूसँग शारीरिक स्‍वभावअनुसार चल्‍ने मानिसहरूसँग जस्‍तै गरी बोलें। ख्रीष्‍टमा साना बालकहरूजस्‍तै मैले तिमीहरूसँग बोल्‍नुपर्‍यो।2यसैकारण मैले तिमीहरूलाई खँदिलो खाना होइन, दूधै खुवाउनुपर्‍यो किनभने खँदिलो खाना तिमीहरूले अघि पनि खान सकेनौ र अझै पनि सकेका छैनौ।3अझै तिमीहरूले शारीरिक स्‍वभावअनुसार जीवन बिताउँछौ अनि तिमीहरूका बीचमा डाहा र झैझगडा छँदै छ। के त्‍यसो भए तिमीहरू शारीरिक स्‍वभावअनुसार चल्‍ने संसारका अरू मानिसजस्‍तै भएनौ र?
But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ.2I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready,3for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?

12- Word of God is like a Fire

Jer 23:29, मेरा वचन आगोजस्‍तै छ, चट्टानलाई चुर-चुर पार्ने एउटा घनझैँ छ।
Is not my word like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

Exo 3:2-4, त्‍यहाँ परमप्रभुका दूत एउटा पोथ्राको बीचमा जलिरहेको ज्‍वालाको रूपमा उनको अघि प्रकट भए। मोशाले देखे कि पोथ्रा जलिरहेको थियो; तर भस्‍म भएको थिएन।3“यो त उदेकको कुरा हो, पोथ्राचाहिँ किन भस्‍म हुँदैन? म छेउमै गएर हेर्नुपर्‍यो,” उनले मनमा भने।
4मोशालाई नजिक आएको देखेर पोथ्राको बीचबाट परमप्रभुले उनलाई बोलाउनुभयो, “मोशा!, ए मोशा!” मोशाले उत्तर दिए, “हजुर, म यहाँ छु।”
And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.3And Moses said, “I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.”4When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.
